Na tentativa de reconquistar a liderança em vendas de sedans médios nos EUA, que perdeu para o Honda Civic quando foi remodelado em 2012, a Toyota mostrou a próxima geração dos Corolla, com um jeitão mais esportivo, 8 cm maior e interior completamente novo.
A versão é global e deve chegar ao Brasil já no começo do ano que vem, com expectativa da mesma motorização nos modelos atuais, o 1.8 (144cv) e o 2.0 (163cv).
